Berry Picker Fingerless Gloves

Calling knitting pattern testers who are interested to test my Berry Picker Fingerless Gloves Pattern.

The Berry Picker Fingerless Gloves Pattern features two finishes: fingerless gloves and fingerless mittens. It has a 1×1 ribbed cuff with mock cable stitches on the main part of the gloves; with the classic stockinette stitch used for the rest of the gloves and 1×1 rib for fingers cuff of the mittens. Inspired by Alaska’s gorgeous summers and berry picking season, these gloves will be a cozy and trendy addition to your collection.

This pattern requires some experience knitting with DPNs (double pointed needles), adding stitches using m1R (make 1 right) and m1L (make 1 left), casting on stitches in the middle of a row or round, and picking up stitches from cast on stitches. Photos and links to video tutorials for these techniques are provided on the pattern and uploaded on my YouTube channel.

Yarn used is Lion Brand Wool-Ease and needles are US8, 5.0mm DPN’s.

Testing date will be from April 10-23, 2023. Pattern release is on April 27, 2023. Chosen testers will be notified either Saturday (April 8) or Sunday (April 9).

Requirements for testing:

  • Needs to have an active Instagram and/or WordPress account(s). You must follow me on either one of these. This is for being in the loop for updates and pattern testing information.
  • As a tester, one must share photos of the work in progress and the finished item and post them on Instagram and/or WordPress.
  • I will also need some feedback after testing with regards to pattern readability, user friendly factor and the whole testing experience.

The pattern is going to be published in Ravelry and if you are picked to test, I will send the tester code so you can also upload the project onto your Ravelry if you prefer.
